If it actually lasts 12 years... Assuming you don't cycle it very deeply (about the same depth of cycles you would run on a $4000 AGM battery string):
$0.35 x 3 replacements of AGMs, every 4 years over 12 years = $1.05/Wh Vs 50 to 55c per Wh one time purchase, replace after 12 years. Much lower lifecycle cost but it remains to be seen how the aquion batteries do in real world use after 10 years, and how good their warranty is.
