Roughly 50 cents per watt hour. That is on par, I think, with a hawker genesis battery.
I normally figure 25 cents for flooded cells. 35 cents for AGM 16-20 cents for cheap trojan solar batts. Therefore should be lower $/Wh if you account for replacing AGM batteries every 4-5 years. What is the price per watt hour? From: Eric Kuhnke Sent: Monday, September 21, 2015 2:52 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [AFMUG] Aquion S30 battery Newly announced model, preliminary datasheet. This is the successor to the S20P battery stack. The S20P is much more costly to purchase than a string composed of 12V 180Ah off-grid type AGM batteries. However, it's supposed to have a 10+ year lifespan if you cycle from 100% SOC down to 60-70% daily in an off grid applications. Also very high temperature tolerant unlike lead acid.
