Dealers simply don't want you to sell direct.  The decision is up to the
owners of the company.  Do you want to do direct sales (there are pros and
cons, as with everything else).

What about doing a one or two day event where everyone gets together,
shares food, stories and table space?  Vendors would be welcome to set up
and answer questions.  Ditch the whole presentation stuff since that's a
ton of work.
