He thinks he is owed broadband from his chosen provider at the speed he wants for a price he thinks is reasonable. Add to that a socialist leaning municipality to guarantee that true private money is less likely to be spent due to tax subsidized competition just because some city council likes playing with other people's money and thinks that ROI for a private firm is a stupid concept. There just seems to be too much drama around towns where muni department people have ambitions of ISPhood. So, I don't see us building out that way ever.
