We don't have enough users yet to use consumer connect, it is very nice, and I want to use it someday, but for now we just remote into the routers and help the customer out with anything router or wifi related. I think it more than pays for itself, usually just a what is my password question? If we get to a couple hundred users than I will get consumer connect, we are small and are only 3 years into our fiber deployment. We have about 150 fiber customers now, with about a 50% take rate.

It gives the support staff those tools to go beyond the wan and see whats really going on in there network (eg. why is my wifi so slow). It's also helped us lower our. truck rolls. We still install a splice point outside the house than use clearfield pushable patch cables. We have like 4 sizes that we use. Sometimes we will install a faceplate than use a indoor patch to the router. Are take rate on a $7 managed router services is over 80%.
