Maintenance, with it bracketed to the post, can pull the pipe down as needed. We don’t anchor the pipe in the concrete typically, that’s a rare situation, we will try to get the bottom in the dirt but not concrete if possible. But yes, if in that event you wanted to, you could remove the post from the install. But the post does give you a lot of strength being there.
