I’m talking about my experience that the clip won’t latch to the DIN rail
unless you pull the tab slightly forward. Not prying with a little screwdriver
to unlatch it, that’s expected.

We just added common parts to the store late last week. Evidently we need to
do a better job of describing some of them.

The end of the din clip on the syncinjector was hidden slightly behind the
syncinjector on purpose. The idea is that a small screwdriver can be placed in
the hole on the bottom of the din clip and the bottom of the syncinjector can
be used as a fulcrum point to enable easy removal of the clip from the din
rail.

No, I think you want this:

The thing you linked to is essentially a tiny piece of plastic DIN rail for
wallmounting stuff that is already DIN rail mountable.

Also note the DIN rail mounting kit for Syncinjectors can be fussy about
snapping onto the rail until you figure out the lever may need to be pulled
forward a bit. Easy if you can get a finger behind it, if you have it in close
quarters you might need to improvise a tool to hook it.

Wow, I totally botched that earlier. The Brother printer FAQ is likely not
going to help with a Packetflux rack mount. Too many windows open!

Buy a small CNC milling machine. Get BUD or Hammond or others from
Mouser or Digi-Key and modify them. Only way to keep the cost out.

The units are designed to fit on a standard 1u shelf. Zip ties.
Velcro. Bolts into the wall mount keyholes etc.

On a related note, if anyone knows a enclosure manufacturer I can buy
custom 1u enclosures from in reasonable quantities (hundred or hundreds)
without paying an arm and three legs please let me know. We've been having a
hard time finding a vendor... I lost track of how many vendors we've
unsuccessfully tried to get those from.

Is there any rackmount kits out there for the packet flux sync
injectors? Just looked over their website and only seen a DIN rail option? Is
anyone making something possibly 3rd party for this?
