Can't they force some sort of compliance with license keys you get after
you prove your FCC application/coordination?

I do have to say though, we'll probably be buying a ton of these

sound pretty awesome.

Yeah, unless they don't allow most of their resellers sell these
things, that isn't going to be happening.

Hopefully the VAR's have the decency to ask the question:
"By the way, do you have the FCC license for this?"

That's a good point... hopefully, the price is still
high enough to keep a good percentage of the idiots
away, but between these and the B11, I suspect there
will be a lot more unlicensed 11ghz links going up than
there ever were before, unfortunately.
Fortunately for us, the majority of the idiots around
here would never spend $1600 on a link when they could
get a pair of AC 5ghz radios for a couple hundred...
since they wouldn't understand the difference anyway. I
can definitely see it being a big problem in a lot of
areas though.

at least they can alter the licensing fees.
There goes the neighborhood
Get a license? Surely you jest. Every unlicensed and
unregistered 3.65 I've come across is a UBNT user.
Not that the NN license meant much, but still. Costs
mostly kept the average idiots at bay in part 101.
