I'd suggest that the question is related to volume as well . if you perhaps only have 50-100 customers paying the $7/month then it's not going to pay for one person, let alone a fully staffed call center. If you 1000 or 10,000 customers willing to pay then it might be a different story. A lot of companies I have seen get into this similar service already have people sitting in a call center with idle time and they are looking to maximize those folks they have already invested in.
