Their logic puzzles me. I expected their complaint to be that Comcast wasn’t faster than competitors like Google Fiber. But no. They complained that Comcast didn’t have the “fastest Internet” if you didn’t purchase the fastest speed. “Here, NAD noted that although XFINITY offers a variety of speeds at a range of prices and tiers, Comcast’s advertising does not limit its claims to a particular tier. NAD determined that the claims at issue in both print and broadcast advertising reasonably conveyed a message of overall superiority – that regardless of which speed tier purchased by a consumer, in a head-to-head comparison, XFINITY would deliver faster speeds.” From: CBB - Jay Fuller Sent: Tuesday, August 09, 2016 4:11 PM To: af@afmug.com Subject: Re: [AFMUG] Imagination of my 8 yr old engineer to be I think you guys (Ken and Jamie) have time to surf the web everyday.... I asked her why she thought the signals were different... "Well grandpa, smart phones play videos and Internet stuff, so the signals are fatter... Like bigger pipes for more water..."...wow...i showed her what RF signals look like on spectrum analyzers but told her that is only a measurement system....i am looking for some visual representations...any ideas your brainier guys than me?
