You can't sysprep a machine that has had Windows Store application updates. The 
rest of the computer is fine to be on the Internet and updated. 

I know how the content is distributed, just not the FQDN they check for the 
store.

Also, I don’t know specifically with “Microsoft Store” itself but Microsoft 
product updates are typically done via CDN’s depending your geographic location 
.. some via their own network but a lot of it done via Akamai for example
