I thought so too until I saw a kid in the office hunt and peck with 2
fingers on each hand. LOL must be easier for him than "That sure was
funny." I don't know why typing wasn't mandatory in his school (frickin
Harvard!). At some point this kid hunt-and-pecked his way through a
master's thesis.

I think it's perfectly normal to be bothered by it. In the days of
typing on flip phones, it was understandable... but when I'm using a
keyboard I just don't see how it's easier than typing actual English
words.
