IMC is special order at all of the Menards around here.

We've done 1-1/4" and 2" Sch40 PVC up water towers and grain legs.
Clamp every 3-4 feet or it will get all slinky.

to be … flexible. Like getting up onto the platform at
some grain legs.

If you use liquidtite and use the proper
connectors, you don’t need to put in a
drip loop or 180 to keep the water out.
Any bend you make in that stuff makes it
harder to pull the wires through. But if
you can pull the wires and you don’t have
connectors then what you are describing is

This is our first time ever using conduit.
Lowe's didn't have any goose necks or
anything so I'm thinking I'll run the
conduit up (so the opening is facing
earth) and then do a 180* down the silo
and into the shack/our NEMA box. Is this
what everyone else does or is there an
alternative?
