I am a newbie to the FISPA. That being said, the Pluses so far... (in no
particular order)

Networking with others in the group (guys with lots of experience)
Informative sessions at the conference
Regulatory information - pole attachments, right-of-ways
Other business opportunities and those relations to the rules of the road -e.g.
E-Rate real world experiences
1 little tidbit in that session could save a TON of aggravation

...Just my first impressions.

Not a being a fanboy, certainly helped me.

Paul,

Putting aside the advocacy/policy work and the conference for a minute, could
you tell us how do you feel being a member of FISPA has benefitted you or your
company?

Guys,

Just throwing this out there.  If you are doing FTTX or even with your towers,
you should consider joining FISPA.  They are parallel organization to WISPA and
our fighting for our seat at the table with legislators.  A LOT is up in the
air right now regulatory wise, and supporting them ultimately also supports us
ISPs.
