So this brings up a question on Gensets that I have been meaning to ask
for a while. What experiences do people have running these small
gensets for extended periods of time.. Like 2-4 days non-stop? Also
to the person that bought one of the Champion Generators mentioned here,
does this have a fuel pump? That is what makes the extended run tank
work well without having to use gravity feed.
On our experience with running the Honda 1000's for 3-4 days we
typically do an oil change after each of these runs... We also are
starting to see more oil use now after 4-5 runs of this duration.
Thanks! Robert

That exact generator was $599 on Woot! yesterday. Sold out now, but
deals like that show up every day. If you don't use Woot! I highly
recommend their daily emails. Best SPAM that I get....

Hi,
I purchased one of these for my camping trailer last year. Even has
a key fob for remote starting. :)

Very quiet (not as quiet as a Honda, but almost).

I am now confused on WTF I am supposed to put as a subject line
for quasi related topics.
I just bought a fifth wheel to live in until my house is
finished. I plan on taking a couple trips with it and the guy
recommended a Honda EU1000. Honda makes great and very quite
gensets but he mentioned it will only run the AC and maybe some
lights and I would have to get 2 and "hook them together" to run
the whole thing.
It has a 30 Amp plug but I forgot to look what voltage it is so
I can't calculate the max wattage I would need.
This sounds suspect. Is there some reason why I just wouldn't by
a larger Honda EU? Does someone have a better recommendation? I
hate to get a gas genset when the trailer runs on propane and
the truck runs on diesel.
