I would buy one, except I don’t want a car with a freaking TV bolted to the dashboard.

I know it's easy to bash Elon; he's not my favorite human by any stretch. However, if these latest delivery numbers are accurate, the Model 3 is beginning to crush the rest of the electric car market. https://cleantechnica.com/2018/03/05/tesla-model-3-wins-february-despite-production-woes-electric-car-sales-dim-usa/ -bp -- bp part15sbs{at}gmail{dot}com On Thu, Mar 8, 2018 at 10:20 AM, Chuck McCown <ch...@wbmfg.com> wrote: But there is sumpin’ special about Tesla. Normal insurance won't cover any vehicle on a race track. You have to buy specialized insurance, which I'm sure would be crazy expensive. It would be more economical to buy the new Ford GT350R ($500k) or the new Corvette Z06 ($120k)... mainly because they are the two fastest track cars available right now... even beating the Porsche 918 ($1 million). But, considering the specs on this car, it is cheap compared to other "super cars" with relatively similar (not much out there that can boast these specs) performance specifications. I've never been a big Tesla car fan as I don't think the company would have been successful on its own, but that is the car industry these days.
