Maybe 99% chance, with the remaining 1% representing failure.  DNA based life 
will
probably stick around in historical simulations, though.  It probably won't go 
entirely
extinct - unless we meet unfriendly aliens.  IMO, more interesting than this 
outcome
is the timescale associated with it.
