Actually I am quite happy with my life. I could afford to retire now if I wanted to, but I like my work. My goal is not to create AGI, because I realize that is quite impossible to do by myself. It is going to happen, but gradually with a global effort. Don't you think that if there were an easy way to do it that businesses would not still be paying people $70 trillion per year worldwide to do work that machines aren't smart enough to do? But I can have some impact.
