Much of those "weaknesses" aren't really weaknesses at all, once you have a
deep understanding of them. RAND Corp's Herman Khan applied game theory to
understand vengeance, which became a cornerstone in America's present
Mutually Assured Destruction  (MAD) strategy, in which a nuclear strike
could be launched, despite there being no apparent benefit from doing so.

I suspect that other emotions would be found to be beneficial, if
adequately studied.
