It is so utterly different I hardly know where to begin. A page is just a place to post and comment and stuff a few files. It cannot not be used to create new classes and populate instances or to relate any items (most of which pages cannot even define) in any way you chose (labeled graphs) or even accept tags nor does it provide much of any query capability, certainly not by tags, object properties, relationships to other things, time entered, type of thing and so on in any combination desired.
A page is more like a [very limited] blog in many ways. Totally different beast. Also remember version #1 is strictly personal, not a social network thing at all. It is foremost a tool for extending your own mind. When it does become more social thing a Page or Group that automatically shows you the up-to-date opt-in parts of the participants extended mind that is relevant to and allowed to be seen by that particular Group/Page/Mind View. :) On Mon, Dec 30, 2013 at 3:25 PM, Piaget Modeler <[email protected]>wrote: > Samantha, > > How is that different from Facebook Pages? > > ~PM > > ------------------------------ > Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2013 15:02:37 -0800 > > Subject: Re: [agi] A Random Thought... > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > > > > > > On Wed, Dec 18, 2013 at 4:54 PM, Russell Wallace < > [email protected]> wrote: > > That does have the great merit of aiming for a category of products in > which many instances are known to be useful!
