Internet shminternet?
I guess the point I was trying to make was re:  HYPE.  At least half
of what drives technology is hype.  If it was
mainframe-with-graphics-and-sensors then how could you recruit
hipsters in with gigantic beards to work?  Then it's on to "cognitive
computing"  What the f is that?  If you call it AI, that's not quite
hip and cool enough, although it's better than it used to be.  No,
cognitive computing conjures up images of a computer understanding.
But "cognitive computing in the cloud" is enough to draw in hipsters
with beards.
