There are some countries which support human euthanasia. Most (all?) support it for animals. And plants are usually killed/pruned if they are an inconvenience. > > > To get "positive reinforcement" from the act of perception, > > you'd likely have to be practicing gratitude mindfullness meditation. > > Don't you, in general, enjoy experiencing new things, thinking, and > doing things? I dono, there are plenty of "new things" which I don't enjoy. Typically I only enjoy things which are aligned with what I want. I sometimes have thoughts I don't like, and thus must meditate them away. There are lots of things I do which I am ambivalent towards, or only gain satisfaction through mindfullness, such as chores. Only doing/thinking those things which are aligned with my wishes bring me joy. I usually feel pretty bad if I find myself wasting time thinking or doing unproductive things, or unaligned things. Even responding to emails can be a quite controversial use of time. -- Logan Streondj ------------------------------------------- AGI Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/21088071-f452e424 Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21088071&id_secret=21088071-58d57657 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
