I am surprised that this topic hasn't generated more discussion. I suppose
the word 'structure' might be a little misleading because I
am thinking about things like dynamic conceptual structures and the term
'structure' usually pertains to something that seems more permanent but I
have tried to use other terms in the past and I haven't had much of a
response with them either.

Aaron made a few interesting comments and I learned something from him
because I began seeing myself use intuitive methods that might be seen like
a first step to 'reflection' in computer programming when I was thinking
about a logical system. I may have missed the significance of comments
people made about programming reflection in the past but no one has ever
taken the discussion to the point where we might discuss how some intuitive
process like this might be used to leverage reasoning and insight. To my
thinking this kind of thing must be essential and foundational to AGI.

I think those of us who think about this stuff must have a head start on
the guys who don't regardless of how far our programs have actually
progressed. But it is not enough to get the problem, you have to start
thinking about how you can leverage the kinds of 'structures' that would be
needed in order to make these insights truly useful.
