Hi James, For specific guidance on installing AGISim you should go to the SourceForge page
http://sourceforge.net/projects/agisim/ and ideally join the sourceforge mailing list for the AGISim project. I am not sure if AGISim has been ported to Windows or not, someone on that list can tell you. I know the game engine underlying it, CrystalSpace, does run on Windows. As an aside two team members have just spent a painful week porting the Novamente Cognition Engine to Windows! No use for me as I prefer OSX anyway, but it should be useful in that we have some development team members who prefer Windows (such as those two ;-) ben g On 4/18/07, James Ratcliff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Forgot to ask, Ben do you a full print demo of the 3D system or a paper that deals directly with that yet? Im goign to try and install it later today and start working with it some. Is it only linux based? The above is really your meaty hypothesis, I'd say... You may be right, but my feeling is that it will work more reliably to start off with the ONE domain of embodied interaction w/ a 3D world, and get the system to have knowledge of this domain via interacting with it. Then, with this knowledge and the ability to generalize/analogize/etc., the bootstrapping process you mention will more more feasible for extending the system's understanding into other domains. -- Ben _______________________________________ James Ratcliff - http://falazar.com Looking for something... ________________________________ Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell?
