Roman type Arial at normal size is probably good (people don't seem to
complain much when I mess up :) ). I doubt anyone will complain all
that much if there's some bolding or italics, although _underscores_
or the like are preferred. It's not that big a deal unless there's
something really jarring, like that signature. Don't worry much about
it. The rules of every community seem arcane at first, and people will
tell you when you accidentally break them.
