It really depends on the contract wording and opinions of members of the contract. Because contracts don't impact every player (generally), and aren't strictly rules, there's been a tendency to let things work how the members of the contract want them to. IE, if everyone in a contract agrees that it works that way, it's unlikely for other players to call a CFJ.

If it does go to a CFJ, it's hard to say. But I suspect most judges would heavily favor intent in contract interpretation.
