I have just compiled and run the engine on an Intel Mac running Leopard. I will now try to do the same with the mapping tools and make a release of AQ that works on the mac - including use of the say command to do the speech.
It may have some rough edges but I hope to get it working this evening (which is 5--8 hours into the future for most of you, I believe :-)).
