I've done a little bit of traveling this year to look at some cars for a client, & I have not been allowed to carry on any tools at all. On one trip, all I had was a compression gauge & a spark plug socket with ratchet & extension, & I had to check that. Now that the holidays are upon us, security is bound to be even tighter. Save yourself the grief, & check your luggage if you're going to pack tools.
