Stevan,
The spark plugs used in the Alfa have a thread of 1.25 mm per revolution which would be
0.04921" per revolution so the 0.012" washers would be about 1/4 turn. The 0.43
spacers would be about 7/8 of a turn, the 0.54 spacer would be 1.1 turns and the 0.64
spacer would be 1.3 turns. I would say that having several of the 0.12 spacers would
probably be the best bet.
I have been using NGK BP7ET three electrode plugs in my Montreal for some time
now with good results and you don't have to worry about indexing them.

Subject: [alfa] Re: Spark plug indexing washers, how thick?
I picked up a set of both the B7ES and the BP7ES NGK plugs today.
Naturally, the auto parts store didn't even know what plug indexing washers are.
Thanks to google, I found an overpriced set on Amazon, thence armed with a part
number, I found a selection on eBay.
Here's the question: the flat copper ones seem to come in two flavors,
either all .012" OR as 10 each of sizes .043", .054" and .064". The guy with the
.012s claims one washer equals about 1/4 turn on the plug. If that's true,
then wouldn't the others be too thick? If you've done this trick before,
which set do I want?
