Hi Dave.
I never used Gold Wave but I do remember when I have heard people do so that it
was verry accessible with the JAWS scripts for it.
I'm learning Reaper.
So this kind of gets in to what do you want to do? Gold Wave and Sound Forge
which I have used are greit.
Reaper though is more complex.
It's an actual multitrack DAW like Sonar ProTules and the like.
Sound Forge and Gold Wave are single track I guess. But SF wil do multi channel
surround sound up to 32 channels. The full HDMI audio count.

Subject: [all-audio] Goldwave or Reaper Accessibility, and beginner
friendliness as a DAW?

Hello,

I'm looking to get in to audio. I am wondering between Goldwave and Reaper
(latest versions) which people prefer in terms of it's uaccessibility with a
screen reader, beginner friendliness and ease of use? Also, were you using one
product then switched to another? If so why?

Thanks.
Dave.
