User smanohar changed the following: What |Old value |New value ================================================================================ Status|CLOSED |UNCONFIRMED -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution|INVALID | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 21 00:01:02 -0700 2005 ------- I am not sure whether ER is aware of the Indian scenario or not, the solution that is given is not practically application. In case I am using OO to create a spreadsheet in my native language (in this case, Tamil), then I can use the currency sysmbol present in the Tamil language, which is ta_IN: Tamil India. But 99.9% of the official communications and documents are created in English. How can I create a document in English language and use a currency symbol from Tamil language? It doesn't make practical sense. It is as good as removing "$" symbol from the currency list and asking Americans to use ta_IN curreny symbol. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
