Yes I normally have the show window content while dragging option on in the
windows control panel. I did turn it off -- same thing but the freezing occurs
when you drop the window and it's not as frequent -- meaning sometimes
immediate -- sometimes you need several drops.

Problem also seems somewhat intermitant. Usually freezes immediately -- but
sometimes you can start OO and not have the problem for awhile. This happened
to me one today.

When I turned off the show content while dragging I noticed something else
too. The navigator window usually opens flush left and 4 or 5 pixels from
flush top of the master window. With the show window content off I was able to
get the navigator window into the center of the screen and try sizing. If you
size from the top or left edges the applications seems to freeze but from the
right and bottom edges it does not.

Another thing I notice too today. When I stopped having the freezing problem
the navigator window stopped opening in the upper left -- which seemed
different. If I can figure out how I'll attach a screen short of where the
navigator window usually opens (i.e. flush left and almost flush top) when I'm
having this problem.

Another thought -- I have 2 JREs on my system. Could there be some sort of
conflict? I've tried with the 1.5x JRE and then with the JRE setting off -- no
real difference.

Anyway -- let me know what I can do to help.

Take care,
Rob
