------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Aug 8 09:23:47 -0700 2006 ------- @james : yes, I admit that the mailmerge from an external source could be simpler, but I had this working fine with OSXPPC 2.0.2 and a MyODBC bridge, accessing a remote mysql server, even though it was extraordinarily slow on the Mac. It still believe it is the remote JDBC code calls that are causing the problem or at least, how these are handled within OOo.
