------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 17 08:26:58 +0000 2008 ------- I've been completely unable to reproduce this issue today, although I have experienced some different results. In one instance I ended up with two /tmp/install.xxxx scripts, one created a link from /etc/openoffice.org2.3 and the other a link from /etc/openoffice.org2.4 to /opt/openoffice.org2.4. On another attempt, I've only got one link from /etc/openoffice.org2.4 to /opt/openoffice.org2.4. It seems there is some strangeness going on with the RPM install, and the post install scripts, but this is difficult to reproduce. It's been verified by many people using my yum repository, and by someone else looking at this bug. One possible easy fix would be to include the link from /etc to /opt in the desktop packages. I'm not entirely sure what the need is for a script to do this anyway, since RPM packages are quite capable of owning symbolic links. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
