This returns no results...

$ rpm -ql openoffice.org-freedesktop-menus | grep etc

...that I don't quite understand because of this...

$ rpm -qf /etc/openoffice.org2.4
openoffice.org-freedesktop-menus-2.4-9268


Perhaps another solution is to fix the install location to /opt and do away with
the symbolic link altogether.  Since /opt is part of the file system hierarchy
standard that shouldn't cause any issues for the majority of users who will be
operating from a Linux Standard Base distribution.
