------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Sep 3 21:20:37 +0000 2008 ------- Michael Lebson 9/3/2009 Windows XP SP3 OOo300m4 build 9347 I can reproduce parts of this bug. Initially uneditable slides in easterpres2.ppt 1. Open impress. 2. Load the given easterpres2.ppt 3. Click the 2nd slide. 4. Note that the text is doubled and uneditable. 5. Note that when the picture on this slide is moved, the text becomes editable as well. 6. If the text is edited, it appears to remove the doubled text but when I click out of the text box it changes back. 7. When the presentation is put into slideshow mode, the text displays correctly. Sometimes clicking out of the textbox area allows it to be edited as well. I CAN, however, delete slides in this presentation and view it as a slideshow with no problem. The other example file (GCSE%20ICT.ppt) shows no problems with my system at all. Although the slides become editable through a series of seemingly random steps, the average user would most likely give up and assume it just doesn't work. On the same page, the average user would most likely not notice that the text displays fine in SldieShow mode and just assume it will be doubled as it is in edit mode. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
