------- Additional comments from 0t...@openoffice.org Sat Jan 2 23:58:50 +0000 2010 ------- Ok, so I finally got OOo 3.1.1 installed from the debs distributed on openoffice.org. They appear even buggier than the Debian unstable version. Anyway, when I try to run this on the command line: /opt/openoffice.org3/program/swriter DisappearingImages.odt Writer comes up and begins to open up the file, but it crashes. It goes into recovery mode and tries to recover the file. If I tell it to do so, then it crashes again and wants me to report the error. I'll attach the XML file in a moment. One time, I somehow managed to get the DisappearingImages.odt file opened by first pulling up writer and then opening the file from the GUI. After doing this, I did not notice a repeat of the issue. However, the crash on opening is clearly much worse. It may be that my colleage's Mac OOo version is writing slightly corrupt files, but until someone looks at this sample and can confirm this, I can't follow up and try to track down the problem in his version. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
