------- Additional comments from fmans...@openoffice.org Thu Feb 11 15:51:33 +0000 2010 ------- Hello everybody In a previous comment I had tried to clarify that after testing I had realised that there were two parts to my initial report to be dealt with differently: (1) EXTENSION MANAGER DISABLED: THIS HAS BEEN SOLVED. The issue was actually related to issue 109062 and to another extension. Their project manager was courteous, friendy and helpful. They acted lightning-fast and now the extension concerned and the Extension Manager both work fine. (2) PALOOCA HANGS OPEN OFFICE 3.1 AND 3.1.1. THIS NEEDS TO BE SOLVED. The details can be read in my just previous comment. I am sorry not to have realised that there was a stop before "openoffice" in your sentence ---> "One thing that might help is to remove the .openoffice folder in your $HOME directory" <---. I think that a $HOME/.openoffice folder is supposed to belong to Open Office and that it being hidden militates against its removal i.e. against your suggestion. I further tentatively think that because seemingly Palooca hangs OO and not viceversa, then it is seemingly Palooca that needs debugging. However, if the Open Office team agreed that $HOME/.openoffice should be removed in connection with part two above, and if that folder existed in my computer, then I would gladly follow that advice and your suggestion.
