------- Additional comments from ajl...@openoffice.org Sat Feb 5 22:51:25 +0000 2011 ------- My understanding is that the Zotero plugin just needs some way to insert metadata into the document. This metadata at the very least needs to uniquely identify the reference within the document, and optimally would uniquely reference the reference globally (hence the URIs in the present implementation). >From my reading of the ReferenceMarks docs and looking at content.xml, it appears that text:name is the only place to put non-visible data. I understand that text:name is designed simply to allow other parts of the document to reference this piece of text, which in most cases wouldn't mean such a verbose name, but OOo doesn't give other workable ways of embedded such metadata (and no one expected long text:name entries to crash Compiz!) So is there a different way of associating metadata with ReferenceMarks? Can they be assigned other attributes that could hold the data? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
