Hi dr,

further to my yesterday's date message I'm enclosing a very abridged version of
my original file in three versions: original.123 file, .xls as saved in this
format from Lotus Millennium and the .sxc file I get opening the .xls from
Calc-1.1.4

Now the arcane is finally revealed ;)
Range names in both the .123 and .xls files appear as 'relative' (no $ signs)
when opened by Lotus, whereas they become'absolute' when traslated into .sxc,
with all consequences this implies due to the underlying 'named ranges
philosophy' in Calc.

As I said in one of my previous messages, once you have defined a 'relative'
range in Lotus, you can address it as 'absolute' just prefixing its name with
the $ sign, otherwise it remains 'relative' (and behaves as Calc relative ranges
do, apart from keeping its name when referred to in a formula, which may be of
some help when working with many values).

I think this should clarify the issue. However, if you think you need the
original complete .123 file (a bit more than 1M) I would rather prefer to send
it to your private address, as it contains some confidential data.

Best regards,
         Ennio.
