The point was to disable the feature *before* we have a sufficient workaround. Not having a possibility at all is IMHO the reason why so many people voted for this issue, a shortcut is not the same - but it's better than nothing. As a temporary solution I can agree to the shortcut, in the long term there should be a document-dependent behaviour: a) standard: doc is opened at the first page b) if the user wants to restart at the last position he has to to two things: - mark a specific option (when *I* reopen this doc, it shall start at last position) - make sure that the user data is used for the document properties the program has to save a new option in the properties to find out, if the current user ha marked the re-opening option. c) if the user wants the doc to open at a special position every time it is opened by any user, it shold have an option "reopen at bookmark" (should be usable for templates as well) It's just an idea - not finally thought through, but perhaps a starting point.
