No. I uninstalled all of the 0.5.x apps (make uninstall), recompiled my kernel
(& modules), grabed cvs and compiled and installed cvs. The modules get loaded
(so my configuration seems to be correct.
And oss-apps should not be affected by old alsa-apps (but they dont work
either).
I did the symlink trying to just get any noise.
