I'm hoping someone can help me... I'm having a bitch of a time getting TKLA to work. I had Mandrake 9 installed and downloaded and installed TKLA but couldn't get any sound out of my computer, even after checking every setting and reading every FAQ, toot and How-to. I finally decided to do a fresh install of Mandrake and then try TKLA again. This time, I got sound out of the box immediately (from XMMS). However, after watching TKLA install itself for over a half hour I can't seem to find *any* of the programs that it supposedly installed. When I run "locate <any tkla prog name>" the only results that come back are files in the installation folder. I still don't know that much about linux, so maybe I'm missing something obvious. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
