Hi I have the turn key system installed. If you go to the web site or
look in the untarred directory of TKLA there is a docs section. you can
navigate and find there a listing of all the applications. Then do a
search for each application. For example audacity or rt etc. I did this
and was able to find out exactly which apps did install and which not.
And Kevin is right about the ALSA stuff find the card matrix and make
sure that the correct information is in etc/modules.conf. Also hardly
any of the TKLA apps register themselves in the menus. That means to use
them you must interact with the command line.

BTW. Kevin is just great when it comes to solving problems and the TKLA
combo is great. 
NB. if you are looking for music notation and midi apps you will have to
add them yourself.
