hi, i have a sb16 vibra 16x isa card, and i installed the latest alsa drivers. it works fine if i only play one thing (ie if i just run xmms for examples).... if i try to play additional sounds (run amp or mpg123 on an mp3), the mp3 will queue until xmms finishes playing its mp3 then starts playing after that...
if i run mpg123 while running xmms for example, i'll get ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:1078:(snd_pcm_hw_open) open /dev/snd/pcmC0D0p failed: Device or resource busy and it will continue to wait until i hit stop in xmms then it will play, in which case it will play. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. -ae ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: The Definitive IT and Networking Event.
