hi,
i was under the impression that, like esd, the alsa drivers allow you to
play multiple sounds at the same time. i had this working when i was
using esd, but i installed alsa expecting it to do the same thing. so
does it not do this, or is it because of my soundcard, or what? would
an ess1688 or a sb128 do it?

thanks,
