I've managed to not install this right, (yes.. i'm a newbie =), i'm on a
fresh debian with kernel 2.2.19.. and that kernel is 3 years old!

All of the ./configure;make;make install works like a charm, the problem
arises when i do the modprobe stuff... i was just wondering.
is there any huge problems with such an old kernel, coz i'm not really
keen on compiling a new one. I've got usb(for me 'ol ptp-camera, and i've
got pcmcia for the nic... i'm quite proud of makin it so far!

I don't want to have to do it all over again ;)
