Thanks to [EMAIL PROTECTED] (good to see that there are some other
clemens' out there...) for the suggestion.
Seems that the snddevices script has been updated since I last used
it and it now generates a LOT more files under /dev/snd/. I ran it
and the alsa code in 2.6.0 ran just fine.
I think I may want to update my other (libraries) from 0.9.0 to 2.9.7,
but what I have is working...
