so instead of n I set 16 (is this right?). In xmms I selected: alsa - configure and checked ¨user defined¨, then wrote ¨default¨
and PCM as Mixer device, but when I play something...xmms hangs and I have to kill it...how can I check that the .asoundrc thing is actually working and setting my digital output as a default? What's wrong with xmms? Thnaks again, Marco
