Hello Bill, thanks for the help. Well, my mistake on rc :). I've
downloaded the .15 version again, and the install.sh was there, maybe
I had a problem unpacking last time.
So this time I've followed the instuctions, used the alsaconf from
alsa-utils to configure my card, it detected the hda-intel. Then I ran
modprobe snd-hda-intel and I get this:
"WARNING: Error inserting snd_hwdep
(/lib/modules/2.6.22-14-generic/kernel/sound/acore/snd-hwdep.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)"
and still I have no sound at all.

Any other suggestions?
